Before reading on, consider yourself warned, especially those people who (think they) know me. I will be talking about children……in a positive manner !! Don’t worry, it’s not that I changed my mind and I want to raise a football team now, but…..What happened is this, I think. As some of you know, I used to have a phobia for butterflies until that time in Africa where there were so many moths, there was no hiding possible. I more or less grew over my fear by an overdose of night time butterflies. I think a similar thing is happening here now. There is an overdose of children, I can’t run or hide from them. They are all over the campsite and they all want to wave at me, talk to me, dance with me, show me things. It might also have something to do with the fact that every Sunday night I’m showing of my dancing skills at the children’s disco (someone has to entertain these kids, right Roxanne?). But boy, is it hard to keep up with the latest trends. I have no problem with the little birdsdance (vogeltjesdans) and I can keep up with K3, but Jumpstyle is a whole other thing ! (" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcIF7-VFrs It sure is a reality check to see them going on and on, jumping as if there life depended on it, and I have to sit down, cool down with ice-cubes and breath heavily to stop my head from spinning, after about 2 minutes. But I won’t give up, I might be able to push it to 3 minutes and get the J-Lo body I’ve been dreaming of for so long in the end
Ow, yeah, what I meant to say is, that it seems that children (in general) and me are starting to get on together. Apart from that little French girl of course. That one that keeps messing up our reception tent and steels our pencils, drawings and sweets
Apart from all the usual problems: a nest of newborn kittens in one of our tents, flying ants everywhere, several draining problems in the mobiles, lack of water pressure on the whole campsite, too much rain and wind, there isn’t much more news to tell you.
