Yes, I know I didn’t write anything. My sincere apologies !! It’s just, that I made a whole lot of new friends outhere and to be honest, I’ve got no more time for the old ones
But he, I will try to better my life and therefore this, hopefully, first of many stories to come.
There is one problem though. I’ve been away for over 2 months now, so there is so much to tell, that I don’t know where to start. Ok, I’ll just start telling you something about the campsite. It’s amazing! It’s got a lake, no sorry, it’s got 3 lakes: a fishing lake, a swimming lake with the most wicked slides and a dog lake. For those who have objections to natural water there is a beautiful swimming pool, right next to the restaurant. The views are stunning and I don’t even have to leave my bed to enjoy them (see picture of Maartje at the bbq).
What more? My colleagues are the best. It’s a nice mixture of Dutch and French. Of course there is a Big Brother kind of atmosphere, living with a group of people this size in an enclosed environment. There is gossip, there is love, there is crying, laughing, eating and drinking together. The only thing missing are the camera’s, although there are rumours that the owner is watching us from his villa with a telescope. Which actually might be true, because he seems to know everything all the time.
Then there is a bar where there is entertainment every night: The Gipsy Kings came to my birthday !! We had people embarrassing themselves under hypnoses, foam parties and Magarena and Kabouter Plop dance parties. And if that’s not enough, the disco opens at midnight till 3 and to close things off there is The Campfire.
Time to work? No, not really.
