Some week !!

It has been a hell of a week. Friday the 23th we went to pick up 11 people from the airport in Tours. They are all Dutch students, coming here for a 3 or 4 month internship. And what an impression they got that night of the company ! For some reason we were all in a partying mood and set of to the local bar in Muides-sur-Loire. We all had a drink and some more than others. Darren, my manager went to a club with a few of us and got totally hammered. Although he’s not making a habit of it, he didn't make a good impression on our new arrivals with that.
I went back to the campsite and while doing that, caught one of our employees buying cannabis. He got sacked (fired) the next day.
When I thought it was time for bed, at around 5.40 in the morning, I couldn't find my bag. It turned out to be stolen. It had everything (passport, both phones, diary, money, drivers license) in it, so you can imagine that I didn't enjoy my day off very much.
Luckily my bag has been found and I picked it up yesterday (wednsday). In it was my passport and drivers license, car key etc. but no diary. So sorry people, but I can't call or write at the moment, cause I've got no addresses or birthdays anymore. (please be free to sent me your details, including phone-number, via email.)
Last Monday things turned out for the better. I had to take two girl couriers out for orientation in the town near their campsite and luck was with us. We went to pay a visit to the local chateau and after my introduction we all were allowed to go in for free (our uniforms may have helped, it probably wasn’t just my sweet talk).
What else? Well, the last few days have been mad again. This Saturday our second campsite opened, but the two couriers were not ready with cleaning the accommodations. Therefore, Maria (the area trainer), me and a couple of others had to help out and we didn’t come home until 22.00/23.00 the last three nights. We even had to give up our only day off. But………..we’re leaving the dream !! (can’t wait to get some sleep I must say).
Last but not least: I miss you all loads and think of you on a daily basis.

Blij dat alles toch weer redelijk op zijn pootjes terecht is gekomen. Zal hier aan het thuisfront de laatste dingetjes regelen. Dikke kus en omhelzing van ons alle vier (Oma, pa, ma en Gabor)Hou je taai meid. -

Nou, als ik dit allemaal zo lees, krijg ik toch wel een beetje medelijden met je!! Maar je maakt ook weer eens wat mee, toch??? Heel veel sterkte verder met dat jonge grut!!
