Wazzzup !?

Let's see, what have I been doing the last two weeks. It's been hectic, I can tell you that. I've been driving a lot to get all the receptions organised and to show the couriers a little bit of the area they're living in. Have them find the doctor, police, supermarket etc. I'm pleased to say that all our campsites are open now and so far our customers are happy.

I myself could do with a little holiday, but I'm afraid that has to wait. although, I had a nice weekend-trip this week. Maria and I had to bring one of the van's back to Nantes and swop the car that was meant for me. They gave me a Citroen Berlingo with only 2 seats in it. That won't work if I have to pick up people or move them around with all their luggage. So of we went and I'm pleased to announce that my new and final car is a brand new Volkswagen Caddy with only 6 km. on the counter.
We girls had a night on the town and the next day drove to La Braule on the coast. We had a quick look at the sea and a nice lunch, but unfortunately it was too windy for sunbathing. We took an easy drive of 400 km back through Angers and Saumur. Felt like a holiday to me.

What else happened? Well, I went to a club in Mer, close to our campsite in Chambord and had a good time. Until we went home and 3 of the couriers were to drunk (or stoned) to stand up straight and we were afraid that one of them would go in a coma or something. So as you can see, even in my free time I'm working. Those youngsters really keep you going :-)

Anyway, campsites are up and running now, Health & Safety paperwork and local info for headoffice is getting on really well, so hopefully things will be easier for me pretty soon.

Sorry I don't have any pictures yet, but the plan I had, failed (not the right software on my neighbours laptop). So hopefully the photoshop is able to help me out one of these days.

Hope you all enjoy the weather (I do, as long as they don't make me do safety checks on the pool in 30 degrees) and keep writing me please. I put all the cards and letters up in my tent, looks really nice.

Gaaf hoor zo'n hele nieuwe tuutuut! Als ik het allemaal zo lees, is het dus echt hard werken voor weinig!!!! Je zou toch nog naar een optreden gaan in Parijs, gaat dat nog door?? En ik beloof je ik zal héééééél snel een kaartje naar je toesturen XXX

Je vermaakt je wel hé!? Werken of niet, feestjes en lol gaat voor jou gewoon door! Bedankt voor je kaartjes. En nee, ik ben nog niet verhuist. Weet ook niet of het nog gaat gebeuren, ik hoor maar niets van die aannemer! Stuur je natuurlijk een verhuisberichtje, zoek gelijk even jouw adres hier op de site. Waar staat die ergens?

Juist ja, aan de telefoon. Dat wil dus zeggen dat ik A) nog in staat was om te bellen en B) zelfs nog om te lopen. Ik heb immers vanuit een telefooncel gebeld. Dat zijn dus 13 nummertjes die ik heb moeten intoetsen.
De heren waren er duidelijk slechter aan toe. 1, een engelsman, sprak alleen nog maar Nederlands en wilde overal gaan liggen, een ander dacht dat hij aan het zonnebaden was om 3 uur 's nachts. Ik bedoel maar.
